HOLIDAY KICKOFF - Season of Celebration

Saturday, December 2nd  5:00 pm to 7:00 pm at Thrive 55+ and Groton Public Library lot.  Groton’s Holiday Kick Off - Season of Celebration is an event that incorporates all holiday celebrations; Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanzaa, Three Kings as well as other holiday traditions.  There will be displays of all the holiday celebrations, children’s activities, entertainment - bell choir, carolers, dancers, hayrides and food trucks.  Plus special guests!

Mystic Irish 5K

Wear your best green gear and join us for the annual Mystic Irish 5k certified race to celebrate St. Patrick's Day weekend in Mystic. The certified course starts and ends in Downtown Mystic and travels along scenic River Road and the banks of the Mystic River. The original Southeastern CT Soup Tasting event! This great Community event is open to all. Sample soups from area restaurants. Advanced registration with the Thrive55+ Active Living Center: Powered by Groton Senior Center is $10pp or $12pp at the door day of the event. 

Sports Memorabilia Raffle: Items from professional and semi-professional athletes and teams.
