Become an Athlete:

Athletes are the heart of Special Olympics Groton! Our athletes are children and adults with intellectual disabilities from across the state who are finding success, joy and friendship as part of our community. Through sports, our athletes are realizing their abilities. Their world is opened with acceptance and understanding. They become confident and empowered as a result of their accomplishments. We offer 11 Olympic-style sports and opportunities to train and compete in sports year-round. To get involved as an athlete: https://www.soct.org/get-involved/become-an-athlete.
