Tuesday November 3, 2020 – Presidential Election & Legislative Election
Polls open 6:00am-8:00pm for all Elections
- District 1 – Groton Public Library 52 Newtown Road, Groton (Changed from West Side Middle School)
- District 2 – Zbierski House 1 Beach Pond Rd (Eastern Point Beach), Groton
- District 3 – Groton City Municipal Building 295 Meridian Street, Groton
- District 4 – Mary Morrison Elementary School 154 Tollgate Road, Groton
- District 5 – School Administration Building 1300 Flanders Road, Mystic
- District 6 – S.B. Butler School 155 Ocean View Avenue, Mystic
- District 7 – Fitch High School 101 Groton Long Point Road, Groton
Any person who qualifies as eligible to register to vote may register in a General Election and cast a ballot on Election Day at the EDR location which is Human Services Building, 2 Fort Hill Road, Groton from 6 am – 8 pm (must be registered in the system at 8pm so come early just to be safe). The EDR Law does not apply to Special Elections or Primaries. Please contact the Registrar’s, if you have additional questions (860) 441-6650.
Absentee Ballots are available beginning October 2, 2020. In addition to §9-135 of the Connecticut General Statutes, Governor Lamont has issued Executive Order 7QQ, which shall permit a person to lawfully state he or she is unable to appear at a polling place because of COVID-19, if there is no federally approved and widely available vaccine for the prevention of COVID-19.
