Welcome to the Town of Groton, Connecticut

Groton Parks & Recreation Master Plan Survey

GPRmasterplansurvey_header

The Town of Groton (Town) has retained BerryDunn to conduct a comprehensive parks and recreation master plan. The focus of this project is for BerryDunn’s project team to help continue the department’s vision:  Groton is a community where everyone feels welcome and included, and has opportunity to live, work and play in a healthy environment. This Parks and Recreation Master Plan will build on the previous plan, celebrating progress made toward previous goals and serving as a foundation for the future. The Department is committed to service all community members, and this plan will help meet that goal. Once completed, the plan will serve as a blueprint for planning and maintaining Groton’s system of parks, recreation, open space, trails, and facilities.

Groton residents may receive a post card in the mail inviting you to participate in the invitation survey. Please follow the directions on the post card to participate. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your thoughts on this very important issue for our community.  If you don’t receive a post card in the mail, you will have an opportunity to participate in the survey through the open link version. Details will be posted on the Town’s website, www.groton-ct.gov, and on Groton Parks & Recreation’s Facebook page, www.facebook.com/grotonparksandrec, within the next two weeks.
