Town of Groton Tax Office Temporary Change in Hours for Access by the Public
Attention Residents and Business Owners:
Due to temporary insufficient staffing levels, beginning December 7, 2022 and until further notice, the Tax Office will be closed for lunchtime every week day between noon and 12:30 p.m. and fully closed on Wednesdays for all in-person transactions.
The Groton Town Hall will be open normal business hours and those wishing to drop off tax payments are welcome to utilize the secure drop box in the Tax Office lobby on Wednesdays.
Payments can also be mailed to our office, our lockbox processing center in Boston or be made electronically on our website at www.groton-ct.gov.
If you need a DMV release, please plan accordingly. Tax Office phones will be operational during normal business hours for customer assistance.
